Thank You and Upcoming Events

The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) Staff and Board would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who offered their time, talents and fiscal donations during the holiday season, including the Thanksgiving meal, Christmas toy drive and meal distribution and contributions throughout all of 2013. We are so very blessed to have such tremendous support!

New Hours.  We have expanded our hours and are now open for services Mondays from noon-4:00 PM; Thursdays from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM; and Fridays from 9:00 AM-1:30 PM.  

Minnesota FoodShare. March is Minnesota FoodShare month.  During March and the first week of April, with the support of this organization, CCEFS will be promoting local food drives as well as soliciting cash donations.  For all funds received in March, CCEFS will receive a proportional match from Minnesota FoodShare and the Feinstein Foundation. If you would like help coordinating donation deliveries or would like someone to speak to your faith community, adult education or youth group please contact us.

Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra Fund (W.C.O.) Drive. On March 9, 2014 at 4:00 pm, the W.C.O. will be performing “On Eagle’s Wings: Psalms for the Soul” at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury. Proceeds of the offering will benefit CCEFS, which was the first recipient of a W.C.O. collection over 28 years ago.

The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation founded 30 years ago to provide for those in need in Woodbury, Oakdale, Landfall and south Maplewood.  Over the last year, CCEFS has distributed approximately 500,000 pounds of food and personal care items to over 11,500 individuals in need in our community.
