Washington County on Friday sent out the latest update about the Valley Creek Road construction project:

On Monday (Oct. 8), concrete work will begin on the westbound lanes of Valley Creek Road. Please be aware of changing access throughout the project area. All businesses in the area will remain open and there will be detour signs posted for any intersections that are closed. 

Again, thank you for your patience during construction and as always, please use caution as you travel through the construction.

The work stretches from Bielenberg Drive to Woodbury Drive. Woodbury officials last month said the work is expected to wrap up the first or second week of November.
