Brief: Summer Hockey at Bielenberg

Keep cool on the ice this summer during open skating sessions

The perfect remedy for this hot summer we are experiencing is a trip to the ice rink and Bielenberg Sports Center is just the place to lace up your skates this month.

For those looking to play a pick-up hockey game, there are drop-in programs available for high school open hockey (ages 13-18) and also for youth open hockey (ages 7-12).  First come, first served -- a maximum of 20 players will be allowed on the ice during the high school sessions and 30 skaters for the youth sessions.  All players must be in full equipment and there is no checking allowed.  The cost per person for the open sessions is $5.

Recreational skating is also available during open skate sessions; hockey sticks and pucks will not be allowed at  that time.  Skate rentals are available for $2 per pair; cost of the session is $4 per person.
