Brief: Woodbury Residents Injured In Motorcycle Crash

The two were hurt after the motorcycle on which they were traveling hit a deer in Fillmore County on Friday.

Two Wodobury residents were injured Friday, June 25, after their motorcycle hit a deer.

Richard W. Jones, 57, and Elizabeth S. Jones, 40, were traveling southbound along Highway 63 in Fillmore County on a 2008 Suzuki when they hit a deer, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol. Richard Jones was driving at the time of the crash.

Both were treated for non-life-threatening injures at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

The crash happened at about 9:50 p.m. on Friday, June 25. Road conditions were dry at the time, according to the state patrol’s report.
