Finally: Snow in the Forecast for Woodbury

Are you excited about the forecast? Or would you rather see the snow continue to hold off?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... after this weekend, probably.

Forecasters expect the Twin Cities metro—including Woodbury—to see the first measurable snow of the season.

There is a 60 percent chance of snow after 3 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory, predicting snow accumulation of 1-3 inches in west central and south central Minnesota. The Twin Cities should see an inch of snow or less.

And while Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 34 degrees, there is an 80 percent chance of snowfall that evening.

Saturday through Sunday the Twin Cities are expected to get 3-5 inches of snow, with some areas seeing more than 6 inches.
