It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... after this weekend, probably.
Forecasters expect the Twin Cities metro—including Woodbury—to see the first measurable snow of the season.
There is a 60 percent chance of snow after 3 p.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory, predicting snow accumulation of 1-3 inches in west central and south central Minnesota. The Twin Cities should see an inch of snow or less.
And while Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 34 degrees, there is an 80 percent chance of snowfall that evening.
Saturday through Sunday the Twin Cities are expected to get 3-5 inches of snow, with some areas seeing more than 6 inches.
