Get Out: What to Do in Woodbury This Weekend

It’s Thursday, the snow’s a melting and spring is in the distant future. Mother nature is giving winter the toe pick but it’s not quite time to roll out the in-line skates. Since the interim period between seasons leaves us at a loss for action, Woodbury Patch has found a few options to get you started this weekend.
BYE, BYE BIRDIE
Where/When: Maplewood Performing Arts Theatre (Maplewood Community Center) on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
Why Go: Although we’d rather be greeting the new spring chirps, a good American rock ‘n roll musical by the will do.
Price: $10 tickets available at the door
ZED LEPPELIN
Where/When: on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 9 p.m.
Why Go: The Led Zeppelin tribute band is almost as good as the real deal.
SNOWSHOE LESSONS
Where/When: Lake Elmo Park Reserve Ski Chalet on Sunday, Feb. 20 from 1-2 p.m.
Why Go: You might as well enjoy the last of the snow and get a jump start on developing new skills for transportation next winter. Equipment provided.
Price: $5, must call (651) 430-8370 to reserve a spot
THE CROIX CHORDSMEN - BARBERSHOP HARMONY
Where/When: At ’s Indoor Amphitheater on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
Why Go: A musical indoor park experience is only one step away from an an outdoor concert.
Price: Free, unless you convince one of the Chordsmen to give you a hair cut.
HOME & PATIO SHOW
Where/When: St. Paul Rivercentre on Thursday, Feb. 17 and Friday, Feb. 18 from noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
