Get Out: What to Do in Woodbury This Weekend

Woodbury's weekend entertainment guide to history, music and a lot of falling eggs.

It’s Thursday of a holiday weekend and Woodbury Patch is here to fill your back pocket with a few ideas and essentially... a lot of eggs.

Lent Event

When: Friday, April 22 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.   
Where:
Why Go: Family-friendly activities, crafts and an Easter egg hunt.



When: Friday & Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1-5 p.m.   
Where:
Why Go: The Civil War exhibit will only be around for one more week.
Price: Free



When: Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Cheer on the Woodbury Boys Varsity Lacrosse team as they take on Prior Lake with a home field advantage.



When: Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: The grassy knoll outside of Oak-Land Junior High (820 Manning Avenue N. in Lake Elmo)
Why Go: It’s not too often a helicopter drops approximately 10,000 eggs filled with desirable prizes.
Price: Free for families with children aged 12 and under

Arch Allies

When: Saturday, April 23 at 9 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Live music from a Styx, Journey and REO tribute band.

Easter Egg Drop

When: Sunday, April 24 at noon
Where: playground area
Why Go: Over 1,000 plastic Easter eggs filled with prizes will be dropped from a helicopter flying overhead.
Price: Free
