‘Get to Know Woodbury’

Fifth annual realtor forum set for Dec. 13.

Looking to learn more about the city?

Woodbury’s Housing and Redevelopment Authority will hold the fifth annual "Get to Know Woodbury" realtor forum 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Central Park amphitheater.

This year's speakers include Woodbury Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens, School District 833 Superintendent Keith Jacobus, and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Community Development Manager Michael Grover.

“Learn about trends in the real estate and mortgage banking industries, hear updates from the school district, and learn about changes to the zoning code that will affect real estate agents,” reads a notice from the city. “Also included will be presentations on development and demographics in Woodbury and information about the Housing and Redevelopment Authority's loan programs.”

Also, three hours of continuing education credits are available from the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors.

For more information, contact Karl Batalden, Woodbury housing specialist, at kbatalden@ci.woodbury.mn.us.
