From Tom Pfotenhauer in the comments section of this post:

Not sure where the business journal got their information, but WLC is not planning on opening a new church in cottage grove, we planted the Alley church there in 2007. In the fall of 2012 we were blessed to merge with a congregation in grant township and do have a second campus in that location as well as 44 undeveloped acres on the corner of bailey and manning in afton. One other note from the star trib article we are a church of 4000 members with 1400 weekend worshipers across our two campuses. God has blessed our church for almost 50 years and we are excited about our future.
