Rewind: Impact of Aurora Shooting, New Superintendent, Roadwork Delay

A look back at the top stories of the week in Woodbury.

In case you missed some of the week’s top stories, here’s a recap.

Monday

What do you think of the new superintendent? (He plans to hold 100 meetings in his first 100 days on the job.)

Cute photos here from a Community Education production of Willy Wonka.

Tuesday

This column from Angela Johnson drew plenty of comments. Too many photos of people’s kids on Facebook?

Woodbury on the grow. This prompted some interesting thoughts on our Facebook page.

Wednesday

Woodbury is the pilot city for this program, which seeks to spread the word about the energy company’s rebate and energy-saving programs.

This week’s Patch Pro came from Woodbury. Thanks for the help Matt Johnson.

Thursday

Great effort from these students on two (four?) fronts.

Remember when I said to mark your calendar? Time for a quick edit.

Big project here, would be nice to save some cash.

Friday

Did anybody go to see the Dark Knight Rises at this weekend? What was the atmosphere like?

Got a little hungry covering this one.

Saturday

One nugget: A driver called police after a group of high school-aged boys on skateboards darted out in front of her car near the intersection of Interlachen Parkway and Pinehurst Road. The boys left after giving the caller the finger.

Big lists the past couple of weeks.
