Snapshot: Woodbury’s One-Float Parade

People can ask for the city’s Take Heart Woodbury float to come out to their neighborhood.

Woodbury is looking to this year.

And those heading up the initiative are getting creative as they work to promote it.

The city recently completed a Take Heart Woodbury float, and residents can ask for it to come out to their neighborhood and have officials train people in hands-only CPR. The float has a disco theme; hands-only CPR can be done to the beat of Stayin Alive.

There are also upcoming events planned:

Kids & Family Fun Fest

Sunday Aug. 19, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at , with a large group training event from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. (The Fun Fest is a Law Enforcement United event.)

Tuesday, Aug. 7, at scheduled block parties in Woodbury. People can walk-up and learn in minutes.

Aug. 24-26 at the tent.
