Woodbury Construction Update: Expect Delays on Valley Creek Road on Monday (Updated)

Access will be limited at Radio Drive and Valley Creek Road on Monday, Nov. 5.

Only right turns will be allowed at Valley Creek Road and Radio Drive on Monday, Nov. 5, as part of the major roadwork project. 

The intersection is expected to be fully operational by Election Day, according to a release from the county.

There will be full access to City Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and there will be no construction work along Valley Creek Road between Donegal Drive/Central Park Place and Tower Drive.

“Please use caution in construction areas and consider using alternate routes,” reads part of the release. “Your patience is appreciated.”

Update

A Thursday release on the project:

There will be multiple changes to traffic along Valley Creek Road in the next week as the project wraps up the concrete work from Bielenberg to Interlachen. Below are details of the traffic changes and the anticipated dates.

Saturday, Nov. 3: Traffic will remain one lane in each direction but will be switched to the inside two lanes.

Monday, Nov. 5: The Radio Drive and Valley Creek Road intersection will be closed between approximately 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Right turn lanes will remain open.

Tuesday, Nov. 6: Traffic will remain on lane in each direction but will be switched to the outside lanes.

Nov. 5-7: Mill and overlay will be done from Interlachen to Woodbury Drive. Intermittent land closures will occur.

Saturday, Nov. 10: Complete project, all lanes will open.

The goal is to have the entire project wrapped up by Nov. 10. As always, the schedule is subject to change due to unforeseen conflicts or weather.
