Woodbury Drive Closure Scheduled for Next Week

The northern part of the project, Park Crossing to south of Lake Road, will be shut down for about three months.

Woodbury Drive—from Park Crossing to south of Lake Road—is set to close Wednesday, April 24.

That stretch of road is expected to be closed for about three months as Washington County expands the street to four lanes from Park Crossing to a quarter mile south of Bailey Road.

Crews will work on the northern portion of the project first. (See the detour map with this post.)

Radio Drive

The work on Radio Drive—from Bailey Road to Hargis Parkway—got started on time on April 17, and the stretch of road is now closed.

It will be closed until the project is complete, likely by the end of July.

The roundabout at Radio Drive and Bailey Road will also be changed toward the end of the project.

Next week, the contractor is set to begin work on tree removal, protective fencing and sewer upgrades.

Traffic Signal

Work on a new traffic signal at Bailey Road and Woodlane Drive is still set to begin later this month.

It’s expected to be up and running by June 30.
