The Public Safety Department on its Facebook page posted information about a March 11 drug bust.

A Woodbury police dog helped officers find nearly three ounces of marijuana during a March 11 traffic stop.

The Public Safety Department on Wednesday posted the following on its Facbeook page:

On March 11th Officer Roddy, requested Officer Posel & his K9 partner to assist with a narcotics search of a vehicle. K9 Niko alerted officers to several locations within the vehicle, each yielding some amount of marijuana. One of the backpacks that Niko alerted to contained 85 grams of marijuana. A successful narcotics seizure like this is a direct result of the rigorous and continuous training Officer Posel maintains with Niko.
