Woodbury Residents Die In Iowa Crash

The vehicle they were traveling in went onto the shoulder, overcorrected and rolled.

Two Woodbury residents died in a car crash Thursday afternoon in Iowa.

Mary Quinn, 68, and Bernard Quinn, 70, died after the vehicle in which they were traveling drove onto the shoulder and Mary, who was driving at the time, overcorrected and the car rolled over, according to a report from the Iowa State Patrol.

The 1999 Buick Park Avenue ended up in an upright position after the crash, which occurred on Highway 218 near Nashua, Iowa.

Mary Quinn was wearing her seatbelt; Bernard Quinn was not. Friday morning, an official with the Iowa State Patrol said troopers did not know if they were husband and wife or brother and sister.

The crash occurred at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday and is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
