While perfluorochemicals have been found in trace amounts in Woodbury’s drinking water, they have remained steady over the past several years of testing, the report says, and the Minnesota Department of Health does not recommend the city or residents take any special precautions regarding their use of the water.

The city’s drinking water comes via groundwater wells from the Prairie Du Chien/Jordan aquifers. Woodbury has 17 wells, with at the intersection of Valley Creek Road and Settlers Ridge Parkway. It’s set to be in use by 2013.
