AROUND THE WORLD IN JUST ONE DAY

Students “Celebrate Cultures” as they parade in cultural dress and
feast on international treats

Woodbury, MN – Preschoolers and Kindergarten
students in Woodbury will dress in silk gowns and saris and toting paper fans,
ukuleles and wooden clogs. The children will join hands and gather to symbolize
the unity of children worldwide.

The Woodbury students join more than 35,000
children from more than 260 Primrose Schools in 17 states across the nation in
the annual Celebrating Cultures event.

The event
marks the end of a month-long program dedicated to celebrating cultures at
Primrose School of Woodbury.  “Children
who develop an appreciation at an early age for cultural traditions and
differences develop into caring, generous adults who love their community and
respect others,” said Tonya Holt, franchise owner. “Celebrating Cultures is
just one of many unique programs at Primrose that are especially designed to
help children develop active minds, healthy bodies and happy hearts.”

All of Woodbury is invited to attend the final
chapter in this lesson, to witness the children as they sing, dance and dine
together. Ethnic foods from around the world will be served and children will
highlight lessons learned throughout the month.
