This class is designed
especially for kids to enhance strength, flexibility, coordination,
form and technique. We'll combine Yoga, Pilates, Dance, and Gymnastics moves to make fitness Fun and functional! Kids will build Confidence as they increase their body and muscle awareness. Intro to gymnastics skills like handstands, cartwheels,
backbends, walkovers, leaps, jumps, and splits will be taught. This class is also great for already dancers looking to improve their tumbling skills for
their routines!
Instructor: Jenny
Jenny has loved dance, gymnastics and fitness her entire
life! Jenny competed with varsity gymnastics all through school (qualifying
individually for State). She also
competed in dance competitions. When
she’s not taking an Energy class, she teaches children gymnastics (for over 10
years now!) Jenny is a huge advocate and
devotee of yoga and wants to blend fitness (pilates & yoga) into all modes of athletics for boys and girls. Jenny’s
specialty is working with kids: “they
bring such life and energy to my spirit and I learn so much from them as I'm
teaching them! Also, I'm a mother of 4 beautiful children, so I guess that’s my
life calling!”
