Nationally known speaker, author and radio personality Kim (Jeffries) Ketola will speak at Celebrate Recovery at Woodbury Lutheran on the topic of abortion on Thursday, January 3, at 6:45 pm.  The meeting, open to the public, is in the Paul Room (lower level; west entrance).

Ketola, author of the award-winning book Cradle My Heart: Finding God's Love After Abortion, is a former Woodbury resident who was well-known to Twin Cities listeners and viewers as Kim Jeffries (on WCCO radio and TV, KSTP-FM morning drive show, KTIS FM, and now at KTIS AM with her nationally syndicated program on Sunday evening from 8-9 pm). She also speaks nationally on the subject of abortion, appearing with Ruth Graham, Cecil Stokes and others.

She says, “The book and now the broadcast represent stories of redemption, my own and others, which have helped me effectively engage and minister God’s love to others who never held the baby they thought they didn’t want, but now desperately wish they could have somehow known and loved.”

CRADLE MY HEART includes stories of God’s love restoring women from every walk of life.  Her message is of importance not just to women who have struggled with abortion, but to anyone who is in need of God's love and redemption.
