Growing Through the Narrow Spots

Ruth Bachman likens the difficult times in our lives to moving through the narrow spot in an hourglass.

Of her own journey, she says, "Every circumstance in life, no matter how crooked, distorted and ugly it appears to be, if responded to in faith, can be transformed."

A cancer survivor who lost her left arm to sarcoma in 2003, wife, mother and grandmother, teacher, motivational speaker, author and cancer advocate, Bachman just finished one of the most exhilirating challenges of her life. At age 64, as a member of an Above + Beyond Cancer team, she reached 19,000 feet in a challenge climb in Nepal.

Join us for a free evening of inspiration and encouragement as you reflect on the narrow spots in your own life and explore how faith and courage can get you through life's challenges, changed but whole.

Free dessert and coffee fellowship in the "Inspiration Cafe" will follow. Freewill offering benefits families financially impacted by cancer.
