The Midwest Independent Publishers Association’s (MIPA) November 2013 meeting is “Discoverability: How to Reach Your Reader and Sell More Books.”

With everything about publishing evolving so fast, independent writers and publishers are suddenly on a more level playing field with the experienced writers and big publishers who are all scrambling to keep up with emerging trends.

Two MIPA members who attended the 2013 IBPA Publishing University conference will share information and resources in a presentation called “Discoverability: How to Reach Your Reader and Sell More Books.” LightaLight Publications publisher and author Marly Cornell is joined by Beaver’s Pond Press publisher Tom Kerber for a discussion of new options in book formats, sales and distribution choices, and methods of marketing, positioning and promotion.

Join the discussion, bring your questions, and find out what you can do with the ideas from national experts, industry trendsetters and futurists!
