Community Corner

Lake Elmo Park Reserve Public Meeting & Open House

Press Release from Washington County.

Washington County is preparing a park access plan for the west side of Lake Elmo Park Reserve, a 2,100-acre park located one mile north of Interstate 94 in Lake Elmo, and the second Public Open House on the topic is being held at the Lake Elmo City Hall.

The plan will focus on connecting community trails in the Lake Elmo and Oakdale communities to planned park facilities on the west side of Lake Elmo Park Reserve.  The project addresses the Living Healthy in Washington County strategy that seeks to provide public access to community facilities.

Project team members will be on-hand to provide information and answer questions. There will not be a formal presentation, so residents are invited to stop by anytime during the open house. This meeting will allow for information sharing and an opportunity for residents to provide input regarding preferred trail connections to the park, which will then be used to help guide the planning process.
