Why Workout With Your Child?

There are several benefits to being physically active with your child.

As a mom, you may find that "you" time can be an extreme rarity.

Sometimes it is wonderful to get a great workout in while your child(ren) is (are) being cared for by someone else. I understand and agree that we all need to have personal time to be at our best.  But, I also think it is important for families to be physically active together.

When children actually witness their parents making exercise a priority, they are more likely to make physical activity a part of their daily life as they get older.

Making time for physical activity as a family helps to create a strong family bond. I think most of us would agree that we live busy lives and sometimes it can be hard to find quality time to unwind and reconnect.  Something as simple as a family walk after dinner can be a great way for the whole family to reconnect after a hectic day.

Baby Boot Camp classes offer a fun and effective way to workout with your child. I challenge you to make physical activity with your child a part of your daily, or almost daily, routine.  No matter the age of your child, you can both benefit from this time together.
