2012 Year in Review: Interlachen Woods Real Estate Market

Exciting news in for homeowners in the Interlachen Woods neighborhood of Woodbury! The housing market in Woodbury appears to have finally stabilized.

After several years of luxury homes around the country languishing on the market for long periods of time, homes in Interlachen Woods are proving to be in high demand.

The latest numbers from the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors are showing the months’ supply of homes in Interlachen Woods dropped 39% in 2012, to a remarkable 3 months’ worth of inventory. Markets with less than a 5 moths’ supply are considered to be a sellers’ market. With so few homes on the market in this high demand neighborhood, this has translated to an increase of 13.8% in median sales price (see graphs.)
