Marsh Creek Housing Market: 2012 Year in Review and What to Expect in 2013

Durham Executive Group's mission is to education both home sellers and buyers on the current housing market conditions in Marsh Creek.

The stock market is up, and so is the Woodbury housing market.

The Marsh Creek housing market in particular showed promising gains in 2012. With only a 1.4 months’ supply of homes on the market in 2012, Marsh Creek is clearly a seller’s market (less than a 5 months’ supply of homes on the market.)

This high demand Woodbury neighborhood saw incredible gains in median price, going up 21.3% in 2012 to $486,500! This translated into an increase of 17.9% in price per finished square foot.

This is big news in the luxury home market, where the past 6 years have seen enormous price drops as high end homes languish on the market for months. Becky and I are optimistic that those days are over, especially in Marsh Creek. We predict the lack of supply will continue to drive sale prices up in 2013.

When you combine great location, great schools, and a great neighborhood with this positive market data, it’s easy to see why the perfect time to be a Marsh Creek homeowner is now!
