ERAA Track & Field Day One AAU Regional Championships

ERAA Track & Field

5 athletes from the ERAA Track & Field program attended the AAU National Qualifier in Indianloa, IA this weekend.

On a blazing hot day Ryan and Aiden Kilibarda, Ellie Bedingham, and Jonathan Webb competed starting their quest to make it to the AAU National competition in Houston, TX. Jonathan and Ellie made the finals in the 100m and 200m. They also competed in the 400m along with Ryan and Aiden. This was a timed final meaning there were multiple heats but the fastest time wins.

All four day one competitors qualified for nationals in the 400m. Notably, Ellie Bedingham was crowned Regional Champion for the 400m in her age group while decreasing her personal best time by just over 2 sec. Aiden and Ryan Kilibarda also had personal bests with Aiden capturing second place by running the second fastest time overall.
