As someone who supports our schools, and has worked on past levy campaigns, I understand the importance of passing the three levy questions at the polls this Tuesday, November 5th. My children are grown, and no longer in District 833 schools, but I will still be voting yes to all three questions, and I will be voting for candidates who support the levy questions. The previous levies we have passed have laid the groundwork for the quality schools that District 833 has today: the quality education, top-notch staff, excellent arts opportunities, strong athletics programs, and varied activities that make for a rich education for our students. To continue to have great schools, we need to continue to fund them. I ask you to take the time to go to the polls on Tuesday, vote yes for the three referendum questions, be informed about which candidates support the referendum, and make sure you know where to vote as polling locations have changed (http://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us). Polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm.
