Why They Can't Tell the Truth

Politcians are liars.

Politicians are just plain liars. All of them.

There now that, that is out of the way, we can get to the bottom of why the current administration is doing what they are doing. When politicians debate, we actually get a glimpse of what they really are like. Take for example the VP Debate the other night.

Paul Ryan, who stumbled over some facts and was more vague than I would have liked, came across as calm and collected. Joe Biden, on the other hand, came off as a snarky, creepy uncle who tries to hang with the kids, (mis)uses their slang and appeared to be a bitter old man clinging to power that he knows is going to be leaving him soon.

Martha Raddatz, is a hack journalist, who had no business being a moderator when her bias was evident to anyone who watched.  She was terrible.  Mr. Biden and Ms. Raddatz constantly interrupted Mr. Ryan when he was trying to give a substantive answer her inquisition.

You have to love the split screen, Mr. Biden was acting like my seven year old when I tell him to do his homework. Which is fitting, Joe (big f****** deal) Biden, is at about the mental capacity of a seven year old.  82 times during the debate, he interrupted, sneered, sighed, asked for equal time and was just generally annoying.

This, of course, translated into a victory for Mr. Biden, according to the talking heads and Chrissie "Tingles" Matthews at MSNBC. That was the point of this debate to begin with. Gaffetastic Mr. Biden needed to be a pit bull, he needed to come off as abrasive and offensive to many to excite the waning enthusiasm for the Democratic ticket.

After Mitt Romney completely decimated President Barack Obama in the presidential debate in Denver, the Democratic base needed something to help get them fired up.  Mr. Biden tried to do that for them.  Did he succeed?  I guess we will find out when people go to the polls in November.

But everyone says people don't vote for the VP so this debate was not as important as the two remaining debates between Mr. Obama and Mr. Romney.

While my trust of polls is gone, as we all know, the books are cooked almost as much as the labor report from last week.  Of course, we now know that "one large state," did NOT report their numbers, kind of, sort of on accidently purpose.  Which is funny, because these numbers are transmitted electronically after being input at the state level.

Weird that this has never happened before. Not once in the history of this reporting and using this system.  Strange that those numbers that were omitted came from a deep blue state, with an extreme deep blue regime in office in an election year, with an incumbent who is in dire trouble with his campaign and knows that he is going to be voted out of office in three weeks.

Shame is gone in politics.

The true shame is when you have a team that is committed to turning this country around and putting Americans back to work, the Democrats are constantly trying to get a message across that, "it was worse than we thought, and just give us more time and we will fix it."

Mr. Obama, Mr. Biden, you had your chance, now it is time for you to step aside and let the adults in the room and fix not only what was broken, but also the untold damage your policies have done in addition to the previous mess.Look in the mirror and tell the truth for once!
