Calling All Hot Mamas

This Wednesday, Sept. 21, Hot Mama will open its eighth location in the Twin Cities at . 

The Edina-based company currently operates 19 stores in seven states. The store, a chic boutique that caters to moms, was the third "child" for a local couple, Mike and Megan Tamte. 

After a traumatizing trip to a department store after having her first baby, Megan decided to create a store that would help moms dress hip and fun while being age appropriate and figure flattering. 

Her hope is that moms walk out of the store feeling confident and "hot," and ready for the boardroom, soccer game or date night with their husband.

From Sept. 21-25, people can save 10 percent off their purchase at Hot Mama.
