A Turn in the Wrong Direction for the Woodbury Real Estate Market?

We saw pending homes ease while inventory grew... oh no! Well, it's the week after Easter and the number of homes for sale in Woodbury MN always grows this time of year.

A turn in the wrong direction for the Woodbury real estate market, or just the typical monthly cycles?

We just experienced the first in a series of monthly trends for the real estate market. I track the Woodbury data very closely and in this "micro-climate" we saw pending homes ease while inventory grew... oh no!

Well, don't get too excited just yet. First of all, it's the week after Easter and the number of homes for sale in Woodbury MN always grows this time of year and we are nearing a month end. That means all the buyers who need to close by the end of May have found their perfect home and are in negotiations for a 45 day close, these listings will show "pending" status within 7 to 10 days and I'll be happy to report the same ol'-same ol', to you in the next week or two!

These are some of the key statistics and trends I track on a weekly/daily basis. Now I must admit, there is no way of predicting the future and we all aspire to be the one who holds the crystal ball of real estate information. And of course the disclaimer your financial adviser always shares, "Past performance is no guarantee of future results."
