An iPad Does Not Fly... Indeed, There is No App. For That!

This weekend, I found out that an iPad does not fly... I checked, there is no App for that!

I set it on the roof of my car and decided to check something out in the backyard. I was distracted by a text while returning to the garage, jumped in my car and took off for the 11 a.m. first-time homebuyer consult at the office.

First off, I am amazed it made 7 corners out of Colby Lake. My heart stopped and jaw dropped when I heard the "Thud" of the iPad bouncing off my trunk at about 40 mph and splattering across the pavement!

Lesson of the day: Cost for Apple to fix: at least $375. Cost to buy an exact replacement: $399. The look on my face as I watched it hit the ground out my rear-view mirror... priceless.

I am choosing to put this one behind me and have  a great week anyways!
