Woodbury Real Estate Update for April 29, 2013

Showings waned for the 2nd time in the last month and that marks the end of our spring real estate market. We finished with more pending home sales then seen in about 6 years!

Showings waned for the 2nd time in the last month and that marks the end of our spring real estate market. We finished with more pending home sales then seen in about 6 years!

The next push in showing activity will lead us to the 4th of July and I expect our pending home sales to remain strong through the fall of 2013.

The stats for the Woodbury Real Estate Market in the previous week:

• New listings in Woodbury decline with 33 homes hitting the market

• Pending properties increase another 2% with 204 homes

• Overall inventory is down 1% with 280 homes for sale

When adjusted for seasonality and compared to 2012 for the month of March 2013: 

• Median Sales Price is up 11.4% to $245,000

• Days on Market is down to 94 days on market

• Percent of original list price received went up to 95.7%

• Months supply of inventory in Woodbury is down to 3.4 months *SELLERS MARKET*
