Woodbury Real Estate Update for May 6, 2013

Summer market is hitting and finally we see some  new listings come into the market! Where have you been the last 3 weeks?

I have been in multiple offers too many times to count and now people get the message... or is it that more home owners are coming out from underwater on their current home mortgage and now looking to take advantage of the move up opportunity low interest rates offer.

The stats for the Woodbury Real Estate Market in the previous week:

• New listings in Woodbury explode with 65 homes hitting the market

• Pending properties remain the same with 204 homes

• Overall inventory grows 4% with 292 homes for sale

When adjusted for seasonality and compared to 2012 for the month of March 2013:

• Median Sales Price is up 11.4% to $245,000

• Days on Market is down to 86 days on market

• Percent of original list price received went up to 96%

• Months supply of inventory in Woodbury is down to 3.3 months *SELLERS MARKET*
