Woodbury Real Estate Roundup For December 2nd, 2013

A short and strong week of sales brings us into December of 2013. Most of the sales expected to close by the end of 2013 are now written and wrapping up the inspection phase. Although the seasonality of our market makes this a slower time of the year with regards to sales volume the number homes available for buyers to look at is pretty low. We saw a 74% list/pend the week of Thanksgiving and that is indicative of what we'll see headed up to the next big holiday!

Interest rates remain in the low 4's according to my mortgage peeps and more uncertainty remains with regards to expectations in the new year. Remember, a 1% change in rates will reduce your buying power of the median value homes in Woodbury by around $25,000. That means a 3 br instead of 4, or possibly loosing your private master bathroom…. Call us today if you have a question!
