And There It Sits: P90X2

The new P90X2 program has arrived. And it isn't going anywhere.

The infamous P90X2 arrived at my home a good two weeks ago.

We opened it; flipped through the catalog; discussed equipment we'll need and the schedule....and then we put it away. We said, "We'll start soon - after Christmas."

I had to physically move the box from my sight as it mocked me whenever I passed by it.

My husband and I did the original P90X earlier this year and kept it up pretty well. It really does kick your butt, but you need to put in the work in order to get the results.

Then we sold our house and had to move. We got out of a routine. We said we'll wait until we can start P90X2 because why start another 90 days of the original?

Oh, the excuses we dream up.

On the message boards for P90X, everyone is exclaiming their joy and excitement for the new product and every post ends with, "I can't wait to start."

Well, I can wait.

I want to eat cookies, drink brandy slush and generally be lazy.

I don't want to: feel pain in 80 percent of my body, feel guilty if I even look at a Diet Coke and/or get up at 5:30 a.m. to fit in the workout.

Perhaps we'll workout tomorrow. Its almost 8 p.m. and I can tell you five excuses for not fitting in the workout right now.

Tomorrow is a new day. A new day to start my P90X transformation!

Or... I'll sleep in and eat cookies for breakfast while staring at the P90X2 program box.
