Letter: Nancy Remakel Would Bring Foresight to the Washington County Board

The purpose of this letter is to fully endorse and give my whole-hearted support to Nancy Remakel for Washington County District 5 County commissioner. 

I have been a colleague of Nancy’s for nearly 20 years and she was my mentor during her 37 years as a science teacher for Woodbury schools. As educators, we follow our school district’s Strategic Plan to guide the formation of our lessons so our students can successfully meet course goals and objectives. 

I am concerned there is no written, formal strategic plan for moving Washington County forward.

As a county commissioner, Nancy Remakel will be instrumental in the development of a formal strategic plan so the citizens of Woodbury will be fully informed of the goals and objectives of Washington County.   

Her leadership and experience serving the citizens of Woodbury is unprecedented. She is a coalition builder, practices fiscal responsibility and applies a common sense approach to addressing and solving current and future issues facing our community. 

Please join me in voting for Nancy Remakel for Washington County commissioner on Nov. 6.
