If you're not out of your comfort zone...you're still warming up.

It's easy to shy away from things that scare us. Most of us tend to stay in our comfort zones, but why?  Why do we always seem to do what's comfortable, and not push ourselves every single day? Are we so afraid of failure that we can't fathom to get out of our comfort zone?

This thing we call "failure" lingers in our everyday lives...inside or outside the gym.  I believe failure is the best thing that can happen to us.  Failure is our way of knowing and learning how capable we truly are.  

At any CrossFit box you reach out of your comfort zone, but pushing yourself to your fullest capacity is one of life's biggest rewards.  How do you better yourself? It's by staying motivated by others around you and learning from your mistakes.  We are all in this together. Cliche or not...it's true.  

The mind is the most powerful tool of your body, we have to train it to stay positive and not lose focus on the things we haven't accomplished yet.

Isn't this normal with every day life?  Whether you're at work, school or at the gym.  The stuff we haven't succeed at is out of our comfort zone, but once those weaknesses turn into strengths we can accomplish anything. 

Crossfit may or may not be for you, but do yourself a favor and reach out of your comfort zone. You may just surprise yourself.
