Some Day I Will Know ... Today I Can Only Speculate

Our emotions will travel from joy to, confusion, betrayal, anger, gut wrenching pain, loneliness, back to confusion and joy.

This weekend will bring the triumphant entry of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem through our Palm Passion Services.

These services are like a door opening wide to let Holy Week run its course. Through the events of this week our emotions will travel from joy to, confusion, betrayal, anger, gut wrenching pain, loneliness, back to confusion and joy.

This is only a short list of the many emotions the disciples and the people around Jesus felt. These are some of the same emotions that the King of Kings staff, members, friends and family are feeling with the death of Lisa Hebeisen.

Lisa was our friend and colleague. Someone who was always there to cheer you on and brighten your spirits when you were down. She was interesting to talk to and loved to learn. She was proud of her family and her husband, Tom. She was dedicated to all of them and they were all perfectly suited for each other.

She was just the right fit. Like a puzzle piece that could be moved from one picture to the next, always blending in to fit perfectly.

It is because of the events that took place on Holy Week, culminating with the death and resurrection of Jesus that we know Lisa is in a better place.
She is at home, in heaven with the Father.

We will all miss Lisa but know that she is waiting for us ... because today she knows what we can only speculate.

With April just out of reach it is time to start planning ahead for beautiful spring days. The grass growing, flowers blooming and all of our snow removal equipment and boots back into storage. The April edition of the Kings Messenger is meant to lift your spirits and point you in the direction of up-coming events, volunteer and learning opportunities and more.
