Looking at the lake at 4:30 in the morning has become a habit for me. A good habit, one I will keep for as long as possible.
The stars in the dark morning sky reflect their light onto the water. It is so enchanting that I hesitate to step away. The depth of the universe and the brightness of the stars remind me that God is the creator of all things.
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. —Genesis 1:14-15

In the stillness of the morning I feel God presence surround me with His love. In just a short time the stars in the sky will be replaced by the brightness of the sun and even though you can no longer see them, they are still there. Like the stars in the sky, God is always there, always with us.
You may not see him face to face but He is there in the beauty of creation, the people you meet, and the love that you feel. God is always with you!
