According to a Woodbury police report:
In the Wal-Mart parking lot at
about 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug 10, an officer cited a woman for driving after
her license was revoked and not having any insurance.
She was released at the scene, and the officer gave the woman specific instructions for leaving the car there until a valid driver arrived.
The officer then parked along
Woodbury Drive, saw the car go past and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.
The car, a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, exited onto westbound Interstate 94 and initially slowed along the shoulder before accelerating and weaving in and out of traffic at more than 120 mph.
For safety reasons, the
officer ended the pursuit, but police later caught up with her at her home.
She was booked at the Washington County Jail pending formal charges.
