Stillwater

As the result of an investigation, a suspect was identified and interviewed, Oak Park Heights Police Chief Brian DeRosier said. A 17-year-old boy will be charged at a later date after the dollar costs and further investigation have been completed.

An "extremely intoxicated" 20-year-old man passed out on a sofa at Simonet's Furniture on Monday afternoon after a day of heavy drinking. His blood alcohol level was .34, according to Stillwater Police.

Felon Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Wielding Gun During Burglary

An Xcel Energy meter reader showed up at a Baytown Township home and had a gun pointed at him by a man who was burglarizing the home. Today, the burglar was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Early-Morning Blaze Destroys Houlton Home

No one was injured as a result of the fire. The home was unoccupied, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Oakdale

Brian James Mehlhorn was sentenced in early March following incidents in Woodbury and Oakdale.

Vehicle Chase Ends in Crash at Century and Conway

Oakdale Police_ officers were involved in a short, high-speed vehicle chase that ended in a crash and on-foot pursuit near the intersection of Century Avenue and Conway Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

  • Kelsie Lynn Genjamin, 19, Hudson, WI, charged with fifth degree drug possession;
  • Jamie Eileen Will, 21, White Bear Lake, aiding and abetting financial transaction card fraud;
  • Lyle Edward Swanson, Jr, 53, Hugo, dangerous weapons-reckless discharge of firearm within municipality;
  • Cherie Jane Schleicher, 33, St. Paul Park, fifth degree drug possession;
  • Melinda Gay Bergstrom, 41, no residence, arrested for receiving stolen property;
  • Scott Eric Taylor, 32, Hugo, third degree assault, susbstantial bodily harm;
  • Ridg Arlan Main, 25, Oak Grove fifth degree drug possession;
  • Michael Joel Stucki, 28, no residence, predatory offender in violation of registration requreiments;
  • Gene Arthur Albert Mueller, 30, St. Paul Park, five counts of second degree burglary;
  • Jarod Dale Vanderschaegen, 24, Scandia, fleeing a peace officer in motor vehicle, DWI;
  • Sarah Ann Smith, Rockford, MN, 26, fifth degree drug possession;
  • Chad Timothy Anderson, 41, Lindstrom, MN, fifth degree drug possession;
  • Alexis Lou Johnson,  39, Oakdale, second degree assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault;
  • David Ryan Olander, 24, Cottage Grove, aiding and abetting burglary – two counts;
  • Johnathen Jeramie Johnson, 27, Cottage Grove, aiding and abetting burglary;
  • David Allen Siegert, 28, Cottage Grove, aiding and abetting burglary.
