Driver Flees Scene of Woodbury Crash

The individual hadn’t been found as of Wednesday afternoon.

The driver who got involved in a one-vehicle crash at Lake View Drive and Hudson Road Wednesday morning fled the scene on foot, prompting police to search for the person.

The individual still had not been located as of 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Police got a call about an erratic driver, and later were called about the crash, which happened a little after 11 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Witnesses told police the individual had fled, said Michelle Okada, police department spokeswoman, but the person wasn't deemed a threat to area residents.

There was no description of the person, and the investigation is ongoing.

The vehicle was towed.

This was right by my house and I saw the abandoned car on Hudson. They closed off the street and I had to go around to get home. There were police cars all over and a helicopter circling the area. I hope he was found! Where exactly was the accident? I didn't see another car involved.
