Homeless Man Faces Drug Charges

A homeless man was arrested and charged for allegedly selling cocaine at a Woodbury restaurant.

A homeless man, recently arrested by police for allegedly selling cocaine, now faces charges.

According to a criminal complaint, Demontra Davis is facing fourth-degree drug charges for selling 1.1 grams of coke. Police say Davis met a buyer at in Woodbury and proceeded to sell the drugs for $400.

Police arrested Davis outside the restaurant with the money in his pocket. According to the criminal complaint, Davis admitted to police he sold the drugs because he is homeless and needed the money.

The incident happened at the end of July. The charges carry a maximum 15-year sentence and up to a $100,00 fine.

, in an unrelated incident, two men were arrested for allegedly selling cocaine. The Washington County Narcotics Task Force arrested the men outside of . The two face second-degree drug sale charges.
