The following information was obtained from recent police reports.

July 26

Police removed a bat a woman at the 1800 block of Donegal Drive had captured in a box after her cat caught it. The bat was transported to and released.

A Woodbury resident, who was away on vacation, called police after someone tried to access his bank account online. The man has friends staying at the house, and reported that things seemed to have been moved around. The man told police he has a suspect, an ex-friend who may have a key to his home.

A home at the 300 block of Leeward Trail was burglarized and a $400 “RCV” was reported stolen.

Workers at the reported seeing a woman punching her dog in her car. An employee yelled at the woman and she sped off. Police made contact with the woman, who said she was merely disciplining her dog. The animal appeared playful and showed no signs of distress.

A patio door on a home at the 7100 block of Robinwood Trail was damaged in an apparent attempted break-in.

A motorist reported that another driver was following him after a road rage incident and tracked him as he drove around the roundabout 25 times. The other driver eventually left.

July 27

Police received a report of vehicles drag racing near the intersection of Doncaster Drive and Pendryn Curve.

An upset Stillwater woman was banging on a door at the —she was upset and anxious and asked several questions about the color of Woodbury police patrol vehicles (specifically the Tahoes) and the color of police uniforms (whether they were navy). Police asked if she wanted to speak to a supervisor but she declined. She eventually left.

An employee at called police after she suspected a coworker of stealing several flat irons valued at $975 total from a back storeroom.

July 28

Police were called to after three men refused to pay a cab driver because they said he didn’t take a direct route to the establishment. They eventually settled on paying $50 and police gave them a ride home.

Neighbors at the 2900 block of McKinley Drive got into an argument about dog poop being left in one of their yards, and the daughter of one person apparently told the other she “could mess her face up.” Police contacted those involved and advised them to avoid each other.

A worker was able to reacquire two candy bars that had been stolen by a juvenile who ran from the store.

July 29

A home at the 10800 block of Artesian Lane was toilet-papered.

An off-road Honda motorbike and a bicycle—along with an e-reader and headphones—were reported stolen from a garage at the 3700 block of Westin Avenue.

Police were called to the 6400 block of Edgewood Avenue on a report of a fight involving three people. They denied fighting but admitted they were arguing. However, officers learned that one of the men had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody.

July 30

A resident at the 1700 block of Donegal Drive contacted police after receiving an email from an “Italian Hitman” who threatened to kill her and said he would provide guidelines on what to do next to avoid this. Police told the woman it was probably a scam and she should not give out personal information. Officers also advised her to have the email address blocked.

Police were called about a possible rolling domestic incident—a caller said it looked like one person was reaching into the back seat and punching another. Officers found them shopping at . They were calm and said one had reached into the back seat to tickle another.

July 31

A resident at the 7200 block of Robinwood Trail called police and said juveniles who frequently cut through her yard looked into her window and made “scary faces.” She was worried they may try to break into her home. She asked police for extra patrols in the area.

An employee at called police after his ex-girlfriend asked him to come outside as the building was closing. He didn’t want to. She told police she wanted to confront him about his new fling. She left without incident.
