Lake Elmo Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash; Funeral Services Set

Anthony John Carlson, 20, of Lake Elmo, died after losing control of his motorcycle Thursday evening near Minnemishinona Falls. Carlson was a 2010 graduate of Stillwater Area High School.

A 20-year-old Lake Elmo man died after losing control of his motorcycle Thursday evening near Minnemishinona Falls.

Anthony John Carlson was traveling westbound on a curve of County Road 41 when he crossed over into the eastbound lane and struck a guardrail, the Associated Press reports. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he later died.

Carlson was a 2010 graduate of Stillwater Area High School.

Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater, and also one hour prior to the service at church.

A celebration of Carlson's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Christ Lutheran Church, 11194 36th St. N., in Lake Elmo. Interment at Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
