Man Arrested in Alleged Gun-Pointing Incident in Woodbury

Police responded following a road-rage complaint on Aug. 27.

A man was arrested for allegedly pointing a pistol at another individual during a road-rage incident on Aug. 27, according to a Woodbury police report.

The caller at about 1:50 p.m. Aug. 27 told police the other driver had pointed a silver handgun at him during the altercation, which ended at the Kwik Trip on Hudson Road, the report says.

Police were only able to get a partial plate from the gas station’s surveillance cameras, but officers were able to obtain a full plate number from cameras at Wal-Mart.

The man was later located, and he admitted most of the caller’s account of the incident, and a gun and marijuana were found in his car, according to the report.

The suspect was booked at the Washington County Jail and released, and he will likely be charged with making terroristic threats.
