Man Asks Church Parishioners For Help With Meth Addiction

The man was crying when he showed up at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Woodbury.

A man walked into Resurrection Lutheran Church in Woodbury at about 3 p.m. Nov. 7 and asked for help with his methamphetamine addiction.

The man "showed up at their church crying and upset," according to the Woodbury police incident report. People at the church thought the man was high on a drug and were concerned about him, so they called Woodbury police.

The man said he was on meth and wanted to get sober.

When officers arrived, they transported him to Regions Hospital for a voluntary evaluation so he can enter a substance abuse program.
