In fact, officers found dozens of bags containing the drug—more than 35 pounds of marijuana, along with 92 grams cocaine, a large amount of cash and other drug paraphernalia, according to the criminal complaint.
Frank Anthony Santovi, 26, faces three felony drug charges following the Dec. 29, 2011, drug bust at a home at the 6100 block of Upper Afton Road.
There were trash bags full of marijuana in the basement of the home, and officers found a false step containing more of the drug and cocaine, according to the complaint. Other items found include 8.3 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, two digital scales, a plane ticket for Arizona in Santovi’s name and more than $14,500 in cash.
Santovi was arrested and booked at the Washington County Jail. While there, he spoke to his father on the phone and told him he “assumes they found it,” the complaint says. When his father asked how much police found, Santovi said, “It’s enough.”
If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 57 years in prison and more than $1.25 million in fines.
