Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following Crash on Radio Drive in Woodbury

The other motorist was cited for inattentive driving.

A St. Paul motorcyclist was hospitalized Thursday after two-vehicle crash along Radio Drive in Woodbury.

The injuries to the 51-year-old were not considered life threatening, but he was transported to Regions Hospital, said Michelle Okada, Woodbury Public Safety spokeswoman.

The incident happened at about 4 p.m. at Donegal Drive, near King of Kings Lutheran Church.

Both the motorcyclist and driver of the other vehicle, a 25-year-old from Hugo, were traveling in the northbound lane, Okada said.

The Hugo man failed to yield and the two vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike. He had abrasions and other injuries, Okada said.
