Police Make Arrests in Woodbury Burglary Cases

The two suspects have been linked to residential burglaries and thefts from cars in Woodbury's Stonemill Farms neighborhood.

Woodbury police on Thursday announced that two suspects have been arrested stemming from crimes in the Stonemill Farms neighborhood.

The two have been linked to five residential burglaries and at least five thefts from cars since June 10, according to Michelle Okada, Woodbury Public Safety spokeswoman.

Most of the items have been returned to the victims. Okada credited the arrests to "good police work."

The recent crimes serve as a reminder that residents should close garage doors, lock doors and not leave keys and personal items in their vehicles, Okada said in an email.

“If it’s late and you notice your neighbor’s garage door open, give them a call, it could prevent them from being the next victim,” she said.
